One Hundred and Seventh Collection

Aidy in Portrait
Aidy is 5 years old. We had so much fun while making portraits, which is my main goal when kids come to my portrait studio.

When planning this session, I wanted to portray a dark and creepy woman with an empty baby carriage and a darkly lit sky, but the day of the session brought the most beautiful sunlight, shining down on us everywhere we turned. This is when I knew I had to change the concept. All I saw through my lens was a beautiful motherβ¦in deep and profound grief and longing of a child that never came to be. Recovering from the loss of a child is a delicate, deeply personal process - one that is intertwined with sorrow and resilience. While the grief never fully disappears, recovery brings a quiet transformation, a shift from unbearable pain to a bittersweet acceptance filled with love, memory, and the strength to move forward. For a long time, joy may seem impossible, disloyal even. Life becomes fragile. It is a continuous journey of learning to live with loss while embracing lifeβs beauty again in the midst of all of the pain. And in that, there is a quiet and profound beauty. A reminder that, the sun will shine again

This photo was taken spontaneously after a shoot β a true behind-the-scenes moment. The model had no idea she was being photographed, and that natural authenticity makes the image so special. The scene and lighting immediately reminded me of Film Noir β mysterious, intense, and timeless."

The image showcases a young woman in an enchanting lavender gown adorned with delicate floral embellishments, standing in the middle of an urban street. Her flowing dress and cape billow dramatically, giving the scene a magical, fairy-tale quality. The warm, golden sunlight filters through the cityscape, illuminating her joyful expression as she holds a small bouquet of flowers. Leaves and petals swirl around her, adding to the whimsical atmosphere. The juxtaposition of her elegant, princess-like presence against the modern city buildings creates a striking contrast, blending fantasy with reality.

Cute and lovely Viszla dog 'Flip'. Look at those ears while she's running towards me. I love this photo!

My lovely model Bianca and her very spunky daughter Alexi graced my studio with their enthusiasm and the promise of more sessions β¦watch this space

Early mornings in Bali are magical and inspiring. Watching this young boy flying his kite on the way to school was really fascinating

Models: Aslan & Annemayke
Photographer: Meraki Animal Art
It was such a joy to have this magical duo in front of my lens. Aslan is the horse Annemayke takes care of, but everything about them showed the deep, magical β and above all, incredibly loving β bond they share.

A portrait of Saar in a stunning blue dress she found among my outfits for the shoots. By using soft lighting, a beautiful fine art portrait is created, taking us a little back in time.
