Meet Quin, 5 years old. Our journey together started before he was even born. The first time I photographed him, he was still in his mother’s belly. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing him many times, watching him grow from a little newborn boy into the energetic and playful child he is today.
This portrait of him is one of my favorites. His mischievous smile, his bright blue eyes and the joyful energy he brings make this image so special. This is exactly why I love photographing children, their pure expressions, their curiosity and the little moments that say so much. I love creating portraits that stand the test of time: natural, authentic and free from passing trends.

We almost didn't take this picture. On our way to the car I saw this very beautiful, low tree. I asked them to "Please, can we take just one more?" And look hoe beautiful it turned out!
