One Hundred and Ninth Collection

This black and white photograph captures the interplay of light and shadow, emphasizing vulnerability and intimacy. The stark contrasts draw attention to the subject's form and emotions, inviting viewers into a moment of quiet contemplation. Through elegant details and negative space, the artwork explores themes of solitude and self-reflection, highlighting the beauty in depth and expression.

Ruby didn’t need to do much. Just be- calm, loyal, and full of quiet wisdom. The kind of presence that stays with you.

Met Dayenka during a masterclass in portrait photography. Coincidentally, she was recently in the area and stopped by for a shoot with masks. The beautiful handmade crown also had to be used, and with the light background and my favorite lighting setup, this stunning fine art photo was created.

Nice to see how some individuals are a true natural when it comes to taking photos. This girl was one of them. I was able to take Wonderful portraits of her.

He doesn’t rise by the rules they wrote.
Not because he lacks,
but because he leads with something softer.
The system favors speed, sameness, surface.
But he moves by depth, care, and quiet insight —
qualities the world often overlooks,
especially in the halls of learning.
Still, there’s a wisdom in him that unfolds slowly,
like light at dusk —
subtle, but certain.
Unmeasured, but true.
And perhaps that’s the kind of brilliance
we need to make space for.

Maria Eduarda was one of my first photo shoots in the United States. A park with beautiful sunsets and abundant colors that match the joy of this charming girl.

I took this portrait during one of my 'Portretjesdagen'. This little one did such a great job; full of personality and patience!

In the background an old Dutch landscape from an old Dutch master. In a time when nobility really stood above the common citizens. The models could handle this role. Fortunately just for a short period.

I absolutely loved shooting with this cheerful lady, and this photograph is one of my favorites. Everything came together: the sun shining, the blue color of the sky in combination with the brownish colors of the Labyrinth, and her beautiful outfit and elegant pose. C-mine in Genk was the perfect decor for her Communion shoot.

This woman left a deep mark on me. Gentle, radiant, filled with peaceful and glowing energy. As a yoga teacher, she embodied presence, fully connected to herself and to each moment. I was moved by the tenderness and love she offered to the child growing within her. Every second of her pregnancy felt sacred, cherished like a precious breath. Her tattoos told a story, her own, and beautifully enhanced her presence as a mother-to-be. Through her, I felt this truth deeply: we must live every moment as if it were our last.
