The way Aslan responded to Annemayke’s presence — calm, grounded, and so full of trust — it was like watching two souls speak without words.

For the shoot with Lieke, I used dried hydrangea flowers from my garden. Tiny spiders emerged from the flowers, which she didn’t particularly enjoy, yet she kept her gaze beautifully steady in front of the camera. With the elegant crown on her head, the result is a regal portrait.

Ohhh, we were so lucky with the sun this evening! It gave us a magical, golden backdrop that matched the dog’s colors perfectly.

This was the first shoot for Shiba Safe. She did it so great!

Taken during 'Portretjesdag'. It’s not always easy to sit still, but this little champ nailed it!

A serene gaze, captured in light. A small experiment with rim lighting. Something I don’t usually use, but fun to try. Combined with the flash, it creates an atmosphere that is both intimate and powerful.

At the end of the holiday, these two wonderful brothers came in for a shoot. When photographing children, creating a relaxed atmosphere is key. Often, a bit of playful silliness is a great way to achieve this, leading to beautiful results. This lovely photo is one of them.
