Becoming the Sand-
In the heart of the desert where silence speaks in golden tones , a woman is blending with the dunes . A moment where the human spirit merges with the rhythm of the world , becoming one with the sand

Jackie is an actor I met during a jazz festival. He was there as a volunteer. I was there to take portraits of the musicians.
He kindly agreed to pose after the soundcheck.

Sometimes an entire life fits into a single glance, a slight movement, a reflection of sunlight. These are the moments I seek to capture alive, sincere, fragile. Every photograph is a reminder that beauty never repeats itself, and every moment deserves to be preserved.

When I was preparing the portrait session with Amy, I made a last-minute decision not to photograph in my studio but to shoot on a special location instead at the former residence of William of Orange. Over 500 years old, this historic house was the perfect backdrop for the images I had in mind.
Amy was instantly excited, and from the very first moment, everything felt like a dream. Her natural elegance, combined with the outfits I had carefully curated, suited her perfectly.
I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Amy into my studio for many years now, and it’s her boundless enthusiasm that always inspires us to try something new. This time was no different, we didn’t hesitate for a second.
The result? Pure magic, if you ask me. ✨
Moments like these are what make photography so special.
This portrait was created using flash and a large softbox.

Three brothers. This heartfelt outdoor shoot reflects the warmth of sibling love and the beauty of childhood. A timeless image that celebrates family, nature, and togetherness.

Kayleigh and her horse in the purple heather, dreaming away together in het last sunhine of the day.

Close to the chapel, in the fading light.
I handed her my hoodie without a thought.
Through the lens, the world turned green.
Her golden hair caught what was left of the day, a last breath of sun before the evening took it back.
It became one of my favorite images.
Not because it’s perfect,
but because it still breathes every time I look at it.

Photography is a moment that can never be repeated. Light, silence, and the breath of life come together in a single second to tell a story without words. This image is not just a picture, but a feeling of time itself when everything pauses, leaving only the pure essence of being.

Judith with her Hackney horse Succes in the blooming heather. The bond between them is very nice to capture on film.

These sweet little brothers (just 2 and 3 years old) stealing the show in front of my lens.🫶
