Nicolas, sitting quietly on a chair and waiting for something yet to come. His gaze is calm but alert. A moment between playfulness and seriousness. In the soft light he seems briefly detached from time, as if he has stepped back into the past.

This photo takes me back to a warm summernight. This couple, expecting their first child, booked me for their maternity photoshoot. Walking trough the forest, we stopped at this gorgeous, hidden spot with ferns and a lookout over the fields. Just like a dream, while her partner watched, she and I made this gorgeous photo. A moment to remember!

The Witch

For centuries, she was misunderstood.

Women who lived close to nature, who understood the language of plants, intuition, and silence. They listened where others turned away. Their knowledge was labeled dangerous. Their independence became a threat.

And so the witch was created as a symbol of fear.
Dark. Distorted. A caricature.

But this portrait tells a different story.

Here, the witch is not something to fear, but something to recognize.
A woman of wisdom and quiet power.
Not condemned for what she is, but misjudged for what she represents.

She looks directly at you.
A finger raised.
Is it an accusation?
An invitation?
Or a mirror?

Her true power is not in spells or words,
but in what she awakens within the viewer.
