Creative Portrait

The imagination does a lot more work than the photo itself. Here everyone will see the facial expression of very human emotions: aggressiveness, calm, delight,... Nevertheless, this face is absolutely not that of a person: all the projections of emotions are not than fantasies.

Adassiya is a French singer-DJ and producer. His music and personality inspired me this shot ! I use an optical snoot and blue gel with my Profoto light and beauty dish. I really love this shot !

The picture was taken at Amaya's Photo Meetup in May. Outside of my shooting area, I shot in black and white and very naturally. The beautiful set was an outdoor bathtub. I am grateful that my model and friend wanted to shoot with me in the bathtub and made it happen with me and grateful that I was allowed to be there!

This grandpa regularly comes along to a photo shoot to lend a hand to his daughter with a family of five. He always stays in the background. But I love to photograph him. He reminds me of my grandfather and gives me memories of the past. I just love faces with a story. Old & Jong the most beautiful combination.

The photo was taken for fun. I like the model enjoying the process of shooting, her feeling relaxed and happy.
