Ninety-Seventh Collection

The bride wanted a "romantic photo with the mood of a fireplace." So, I put a full CTO gel on my flash, placed it on the ground behind them, and directed them into some poses. During that i told them that they are now allowed to kiss - They had to stop before their lips touched. So, I played this game a bit until I could feel and capture the tension between them.

I had the opportunity to take this photo on Vibus engagement. I love it when my clients give me the freedom to be creative and try out new things.

Outdoorshooting with available light. Lara is a beautiful model with red hair and many freckles, which are not covered. Thank you Lara!

Expressions, light, and shadow contrast—the best way to convey magic, create a work of art, and transition from photography to painting.

A pure and captivating portrait that holds your attention, created in the studio of Lotte Rietveld Fotografie in Huizen.

creating moody light is something I always strive for. In this photo I've used also a Black Mist filter to enhance the softness and cerate a glamour glow on the model.

They were on holydays. Long before they booked because it was a long time ago. Daddy and his little girl. I felt familiar with it.

I was so excited to photograph this beautiful woman. obsessed with her hair style and beautiful wide smile.

It was this dress from my client closet that Amy brought to my studio.
Only 8 years old, she came along with her mom for a portrait shoot. She told me she had never had curls before and really wanted to try them out. When I showed her the collection of dresses, she fell in love instantly.
After the hair styling and a light touch of makeup, she transformed into a seasoned model, radiating in front of my lens.
Shot in my studio in Brielle near Rotterdam using only one flashlight.

The couple wanted to say their vows privately during the first look. This shot was captured right after the bride spoked her words to him. My prompt was simply "now look at me".

Again an outdoor shooting in the Swiss mountains. The sun was shining but it was very cold at that day. The couple and I were freezing to death but still tried everything to capture some magical shots in the snow.

Being able to capture natural expressions in the babies who visit my studio is simply indescribable. Many of these moments are unique; they are expressions that I often see when I review all the images I’ve taken of them. And then, boom! I see these beautiful eyes that practically fill the entire frame, and I realize that clicking at the right moment creates magic that lasts forever.
