She doesn’t like that but it was fun, finally!

Playing with light and shadow with just one flash is one of my favorite disciplines.

Little dog Dior on a little bridge in the Dutch forest

There are some moments during a photoshoot when everything is just perfect together. This was such a moment. The couple full of love for each other and their newborn baby. The green leaves surrounding them. The outfits. All just gorgeous and perfect!

I was allowed to photograph this handsome dog in the beautiful forest, the sun shine a little through the pinetrees and then something magical happened. I love these kinds of pictures and these images make me happy too.

Fee is a very energetic and talented girl who excels in singing and dancing. She has played in several musicals and came to me for a portfolio shoot. In the studio I still had the setup from another shoot and when Fee came in I asked her if she wanted to sit down for a moment.

In contrast to the energetic Portfolio shoot we were about to do, we took a moment of peace, resulting in a photo that radiates her peaceful side. Nice contrast with the energetic, cheerful and talented artist she is.

Through the dusty window, streaked with the passage of time, he gazes out into the quiet street beyond, where the world bustles with life yet remains distant. His face, etched with lines that tell the stories of years gone by, holds a mixture of nostalgia and contentment as he watches the ebb and flow of daily existence.

Despite the solitude of his surroundings, there is a sense of quiet purpose in his demeanor, a steadfastness born from a lifetime spent amidst the tools of his trade. And as he stands there, peering out into the twilight, he remains a silent sentinel, a guardian of memories and maker of dreams.
