This session was inspired by the Japanese art of Kitsugi, the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.

This photo was taken some time ago. We walked through Bern, Switzerland and did some portraits.
During a break at one of the numerous open bookshelves in town, my adorable model Jovana grabbed a book and started to read. I had to immortalize this scene in a photo. I call it "relax and read a book".
I only used natural light.
It was my first shooting with Tamara around May and we run out of daylight in the evening. We had the option to stop or to use an external light source to brighten her face. I decided to go for the 2nd option and the result in surrounding grass has really paid off. I would like to thank Tamy again for this beautiful photo shooting
