Seventy-Seventh Collection

Lostplace combined with colored lights.
Sometimes you just have to try it, the result is usually better than expected!
It was the same with this shoot and the various sets.

I present to you Arty. My 5-years old Jack Russel Terrier. It is extremely difficult to shoot such dog because it can't stay still even for a minute but I got this chance!

This little boy came with his older brother and sister. They all were great models, but this boy really liked it and had a lot of fun ????

Making eyes talk, like they are telling a feeling. Having a lot of fun in the studio with black and white. It is not about the pose or the composition but only what those eyes are telling for a story.

This beautiful puppy was in the forest for the first time. She was a little bit scared, but her owner brought her favorite friend ????

EMERGE
An "e" prefix is most often short for Latin "ex": "out of, from."
So "emerge" can be understood as "e-merge" - merging with something by leaving it.
Which is obviously a paradox on the face of it! Can we make some sense of this?
But look at it this way. By becoming each day a new and better version of ourselves, we also become newer, truer versions of everything we always were. Think of it as an e-merge: Leaving our old selves to merge back into ourselves, bigger and better.
Life is not static. It is about dynamics. Life is about change.
As a portrait photographer, those are the dynamics I endeavor always to capture in my subjects. To help them see themselves as I see them: Constantly emerging and stepping out of themselves, but then to come back in - truer and better.

Just this happy face, strong portret of a young man. The curls and pretty eyes make this picture perfect I think. The combination with black and white version

This little girl comes to my photo studio every year, since she is in her mothers tummy. She became my little best friend! Love to take pictures of her! She is such a great kid!

Helianthus- As the soul always turns to peace and serenity, as does the sunflower to the sun. Bright, vibrant, and radiant, the sunflower is so commonly looked upon as a symbol of hope and happiness. Abbi, 9, U.S.A.

We could not complain about this summer, right? Well, maybe it was a little too hot on some days... In any case, this day was one for a stroll and taking some pictures in the city of Zurich with gorgeous Anna.

this picture is from a half day shooting we did. Katherine came back from NewYork and we decided to do 4 Sets this morning. This Set is our forest Set.

This shot is taken in the studio. And although the heating was turned off it did get a little hot. I'm still wondering what the reason was...

We did a whole afternoon shooting. But it was only when we startet to shoot with his beloved Hasselblad, that we got the expression i searched for..

Man and horse. Perhaps the strongest connection since centuries. There is a lot of power in this relationship. There is a lot of history and legends surrounding it. Next to a strong man, there has always been a magnificent horse.

Natural light portrait.
I was trying to find the perfect place in my home to make portraits with natural light. I think I found the right spot!

I love color gels, and I often use them in my shootings.
In this portrait beautiful Camilla looks like a lehtal killer in an action/martial art movie!
