This is a portret of Marlena Ziobro taken in studio in Krakow at Poland. I used 50mm f1.4 Nikkor lens on Nikon D610 body. Lights from Quadralite

Black and white composite portrait. Model portrait was shot in my very little home-studio using 2 strobe lights. Post treatment with capture One and compositing with photoshop.

Beautiful Samantha at hydrangea field. This was a collaborative shoot with hydrangea field's owner, as it is not a public space, but private farm Te Puna Blooms. We caught a perfect moment of pink hydrangeas in full bloom.

We took this photo just before spring when the blooms had just begun. When working with young children, I like to give them activities Such as holding a flower and then gently guide them into a pose. I find it produces more natural images that are artistic and visually appealing.

A good portrait should be able to tell the story of a subject, and help the viewer understand what it's like to be inside that person's mind. Whether you're the photographer or the model, understanding how light works will help you achieve that goal.

Lora is a former ballet dancer. However ballet will always be a passion. The photo was taken in a ballet dance room with one light only.

He was there for a portrait. She walked in with her mother. I asked if they would sit together and directed the pose, aiming for a result that would be intriguing and leave their relationship in mystery. Very happy with the nomination! Thank you!

A 15 minutes quick shots and try to create a mysterious look with color gel and new combination red-green.

1) driving around I found this spot on the neighborhood. The place was so perfect that my model did not need a dress. My first option is always fabric so we made it natural, intimate and fresh. This Image shows the last days of spring in New Jersey.
