Seventieth Collection

Jalisa, this is one of my favorite black and white potraits. Normally I focus on the eyes in most of my portraits, but for this picture i choose to keep them closed. Why? Because her hands, face, hair, hightlights and great lips falling into one perfect piece!

How does "time" determine our life? Time is the real currency in our lives. All people don't want "something" from you, but the TIME that you invest for them. Is time just a number on the display that makes you believe something is right or wrong?

Everyone wants something from you, right away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Again and again, you look at the clock and suddenly there is a feeling that makes you forget all the time.

Pride and Prosperity.
When we live here in Hong Kong, we always have this annual tradition. A Chinese New Year Photoshoot to commemorate the well celebrated festival in the region.
This year a vigorous and elegant year of the tiger. A moody and striking atmosphere to bring out the fierce beauty of the muse.

When this photoshoot started, in the beautiful island of Samos, we were aiming for some golden hour shots with the classical sea views of Greece. Quickly though, we realized the island had much more to offer. An abandoned field of dry straw and the beautiful natural lighting provided an amazing camouflage opportunity, that led to this shot.

After 2 years break due to covid social distancing I decided to restart with a really stunning model.
I was able to make an appoinment with Anastasiia Kolomiiets, Ukrainian model. You know this, when you click right away.
It was an awsome shooting and I m still happy with the results. This pic was one of them.

This portrait is inspired by Churchill style photoes. The cigar is a mandatory accessoary and Hankey Bannister is the favourite whiskey of Churchill.

This is a picture from my first photo shoot with Tanja (and it wasn't the last ;-) We had the idea to do some cool city fashion shoots in black leather. The day came and so did the rain. So we took some great shots in the rain.

I shot her from a higher position. I love the color contrast from the deep black of her leather suit, the gray floor and the red umbrella. I titled the picture "Is it still raining?".

For this image I only used natural light.

Her professionalism together with her personable nature made the occasion a wonderful memory.

Beauty and lots of attitude in the same scene. A studio photoshoot using a rembrandt lighting scheme and side lighting to separate the model from the background and create more dimension and a better perspective.

What a superbe start in the new year. We had the idea to start 2022 with a shooting in the nearby forest. Fabienne (@fab__ella) and myself found this spot with a light setup that suited her fairy dress

Beautiful photoshoot at Hamilton Gardens, New Zealand. I was aiming for a romantic soft look according to garden theme. Together with team of designer, florist and jeweler, we created some magic.

One of my favorite customer sessions in 2020. Little girl in a green dress on the forrest lake. I love this emotional color base.

My favorite portrait of my daughter. My oldest daughter love to help me out and sit in my studio so i can try out some portrait ideas. With this portrait i tried to make the focus on the face and hide her hair underneath underneath the blanket. It was just something to try out and on Instagram it's featured a couple of times already! Feeling blessed i can create these picture for her and see here crow!
