M: @yanova_egyptian_mau / as natural as a portrait can be nowadays. Available light with B&W conversion in Photoshop but no skin retouching.
Wait and hope one day all this is over.

On a beautiful afternoon in fall, I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the beautiful models Magali and Ely. I fell in love with the colors and this location beside a small pond. After taking a couple of great shots, I decided to try my new lens, Edge 50 by Lensbaby. It creates this nice effect of only the diagonal from upper right to lower left is in focus and the rest fades into a soft blur.
I saw these stacks of wood at a sawmill and I knew this is a great place to get some fantastic pictures of my model Jana. Check out her eyes and her freckles. Beautiful, isn't it? I call this picture "The secret in her eyes".
I used natural light only.
In a castle outside of Poznan (Poland) Olga and I started our shooting in a large room with a piano. This set was so amazing. It inspired us to spent most of the time taking some pictures at or on the piano.
Beautiful Femke. In this picture, Femke is about 30 weeks pregnant and we did a few different shots during this session. Happy with the results.
It was my third photoshoot with the amazing Livia. We went through different fields, took some shots and this is one of my favorite results of this shooting.

“Maybe our love won’t be like the movies. Maybe there won’t be a grand ending, an airport run, a long embrace where the I love you’s come pouring out as fast as the laughs and tears. Maybe it’ll be as simple as breakfast on a weekday. You’ll be drinking coffee, I’ll be eating cereal; I’ll look at you, you’ll look at me, and we’ll just know.”

Julia, my lovely daughter, was at home due to a little cold, nothing serious, but she had to stay home from school. So we decided to make it a good day at home and went into the studio to practice some lighting setups. Love how this one turned out.
This is one of my favorite shots of the last months. We improvised everything during our shooting. For this shot, I combined available light with projector light. Many thanks to @naemijoelle for so many awesome photos!
This was shot for a magazine with Jazmyn Simon @jazmynsimon to feature her debut in Ballers. I used a 3 light set up, the main light was a beauty dish and the sidelights are 2 softboxes. I love the profile look while giving her highlights on her skin especially her neck.
This man has been involved in animal husbandry for 40 years. He knows everything about sheep and nothing about modern life. His face and his eyes tell everything about his life.
First meeting with Soana, for a photographic essay in a slightly fashionable spirit, with some portraits. "Move your hair, do anything, I want some movement...". And here is this photo was taken in the studio.
The Angel in the woods: The dreams
The conceptual shot of an Angel comes in the dreams while I lost my way in the woods. This conceptual shot differs from the usual costume of Angel with a white dress and Wings.
Model - Tiena Gambull
Location -Balikpapan
This photo was taken during our flower shooting with great Model Kaschina. Thank you for Make up Zana di Liberto and for Hair and Dress Enza Coiffure.
It was my first creative project. I picked the theme Day of the Dead. It was so much fun to see the transformation and the result after. And I would use the words of Pablo Picasso "Art is the lie that enables us to realize the truth."
This picture was taken during the first CoVid quarantine in Italy. The subject is a quiet sleepy Bengal - mix cat. It is known that Bengal cats have a very distinctive temperament, having a natural predisposition to be independent; but at the same time, they can be loving cats.
I love the details in my model's face and with the light falling just perfectly over her, I quickly grabbed my macro lens to really get in close.
So einfach, so gut.
In my “Faces of Zurich” series, I asked ordinary people from Zurich if I could take a portrait of them. Of course, all the pictures in the series were also taken directly in Zurich. I rarely worry about what I want to photograph before. I see the moment and try to hold it. So easy, so good.
