One Hundred and Second Collection

This portrait was made in a workshop studio for lighting techniques, and I was impressed by the look of attitude and mystery that the model allowed me to portray.

Effy came to me for a photoshoot with her big sister Brynn during the blooming heather season. It was a beautiful summer evening! Effy was just 15 weeks old during our photoshoot and she did absolutely amazing! I love how she look at me with her cutest little, fluffy face 💜

The man could be a metaphor for someone reaching a moment of realization, self-acceptance, or surrender after a long period of struggle or transition. The scattered suitcases represent his past, his burdens, or emotional baggage, which he may be in the process of unpacking or letting go of. The pelican adds an air of companionship or guidance, suggesting that he is not alone on this journey of self-discovery. The reflective water hints at inner depth and emotional clarity.
Overall, the image feels like a meditation on life’s journey, emotional release, and personal growth.

A little sister with her younger brother. They came for a photoshoot with their three older cousins. Naturally, they also took a picture together. So sweet!

I made this photo during my urban dog photography workshop on a rainy Saturday morning. These fluffy models did a great job at posing for the attending photographers.
