During one of the COVID lockdowns I rook this picture of my own girls and our little friend. The feeling that the world is spinning from behind the windows, when this is the time they should discover everything..

Dieses Shooting mit der lieben Annalena war einfach etwas besonderes. Obwohl es unsere erste Zusammenarbeit war,
hatten wir sofort eine unglaublich tolle Basis.

Portrait in rapeseed field. In north of France, on april, yellow color invades the fields. Portraits in rapeseed are more than common so to make this one more "punchy", i simply created a color contrast by using a blue jacket in yellow flowers.

Sea goddess theme. It was so fun creating props for this shoot. I've discovered the beauty of glue gun and making props with cartons and paints and now I can't stop :)

I did this shooting with @missfranzipanziiiii over the rooftops in Stuttgart. We wanted to get some analogue feeling so i did a b/w version with a bit more contrast and grain. Totally in love with the outcome.

Here she is again, my little daughter Lena. People are smiling and making portrait shoot bookings because the summer is coming! And it starts with spring with everywhere beautiful flowers in every color. I picked some flower nearby my house and used them to create some new portrait work with Lena.

Another edit of my earlier self portrait, inspired by Churchill style photos with a cigar and whiskey. Two lights set and lighting that gives more dramatic look to the portrait.

I was trying to find out how minimal I could make a portrait that would still capture the viewer and this series is the result. Easy, clear lighting with minimal attributes and just the face showing. Not feeling too old school, not too modern, not too classical, not too fashiony. It is all subjective of course...
Very appreciative of all the positive support. This series also won an award in Belgium.

Everything comes together in this photo.. The environment, the pose, the contrast in color and the beautiful model. Dancing is an important part of my model's life so she really wanted this to be reflected in the shoot. A ballet pose in a non-ballet environment with the contrast of the red ballet shoe. Very proud of the result

„The Red Brenizer“

Eine Methode bei der Environment Portrait Fotografie, die leider immer noch nicht allen bekannt ist. Ziel war es, ein Bild zu kreieren welches dem Mittelformat die Stirn bieten kann.

Tobi, model of this great picture, is usually a photographer behind the camera himself. After 8 weeks of touring through scandinavia he joined me at my studio and we tried to take some character portraits. A photographer meets photographer session. I like that lightsetting, one crosslight, soft, specially for black and white. I hope you will also join the next pictures from this great series.

Ce portrait d’artistes a été pris lors d’un shooting improvisé avec mes deux amis acrobates Romina et Kevin.
Romina est le modèle avec qui j’adore travailler. Je sais que nous aurons des photos mémorables à chaque shooting.
Kevin était présent pour nous assister sur ce shoot et à accepté de poser pour moi à la dernière minute. Ils m’ont offert ce magnifique pas de deux.

This is Charlie Hudson a New York and New Jersey based actor and filmmaker. Along with headshots, on this shoot day we decided to make several “character portraits” and I jokingly said “put your hand to your chin, that always looks good”. The result, was this portrait. I really love it because even though it’s posed, I still feel like a genuine connection was made and a real emotion was captured.
