One Hundred and Twenty-First Collection
Becoming one with nature.
I took this image in the Amsterdamse Bos, surrounded by blossoms that perfectly matched the moment.
At the edge of the Swiss Alps.
The wind moved first, then the light, then her hair.
Her eyes closed, and the portrait stopped asking for attention.
Nothing was performed. Nothing needed to be explained.
Only a brief inward turn, caught between shadow, breath and mountain air.
Some moments do not look at us.
They remain with themselves.

This is Koda, an amazing Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. It was actually a cloudy day, but at the end of this photoshoot, the sun appeared for just two or three minutes, creating this beautiful orange glow. This brief moment resulted in this picture among the heather. We were just in time for this photoshoot, as unfortunately this area partially caught fire a few weeks later. I took this picture in the beginning of April in Zuidwolde (The Netherlands)
This photo shows a man who wanted to be remembered at the hard times in his life. Many years ago. As a mark. So he will never fall back.
At the edge of the Swiss Alps.
Above the quiet water of Oeschinensee, she sat between wind, stone and distance.
The mountains had already taken the loudness out of the day,
and for a moment her presence became part of the landscape.
Not placed there, not posed into it, but held by it.
A portrait of stillness before the weather changed.
