Winning photos
This is Koda, an amazing Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. It was actually a cloudy day, but at the end of this photoshoot, the sun appeared for just two or three minutes, creating this beautiful orange glow. This brief moment resulted in this picture among the heather. We were just in time for this photoshoot, as unfortunately this area partially caught fire a few weeks later. I took this picture in the beginning of April in Zuidwolde (The Netherlands)

This is Border Collie puppy Spike lying down in the fallen leaves at the beginning of spring. This sweet photo was not staged, but captured in the brief moment when she decided to rest her head on the ground. I took this photo in the forest of Landgoed Hoekelum (Netherlands), which is one of my favorite places to photograph.
