With a refined fine art approach and a deep appreciation for classic studio lighting, I carefully craft each portrait to reveal the unique essence of the person in front of my lens. Using dark, minimalistic backgrounds and thoughtfully controlled light, I create a calm and powerful atmosphere. Hoewel ik het al heel lang heerlijk vind om ook op dit vlak creatief bezig te zijn, heb ik me hier een paar jaar geleden echt verder in verdiept. Ik wilde graag de pure oprechte blik vangen van met name Tijmen, onze middelste zoon met een een van autisme, om ook anderen te laten zien wat wij iedere dag mogen zien. Dat hij, ondanks alle hobbels die hij in deze maatschappij moet nemen, een bijzonder en uniek persoon is waar we ontzettend trots op zijn en waar hij ook zelf trots op mag leren zijn. Ik probeer dan ook om een krachtig, puur en natuurlijk portret te maken. Een beeld dat raakt en de herinnering in stand houdt. Een moment om te koesteren. Ik hou ervan om vertrouwen te creëren en me te verdiepen in het verhaal achter de persoon. Op die manier probeer ik iemand vast te leggen.

Multiply International Photography Awards Winner. My works were published in many Fashion and Fine Art magazines and photography almanacs. I was few times included in the annual Best of the Best photographers digests. My primary field of Photography is High End Fine Art Portraiture including memorable and storytelling unique portraits. During the years I developed my own way of collaboration with private clients as well as with models ranging from rookies up to known International Top Models which delivers exceptional outcome. Life is short and moment is just flying after moment. My ultimate goal is not only to capture standard similar to any other picture but build something which can later tell about the person in my shot, open her beauty, character, emotions and leave unique memory about this person for her and for the next generations.

Hi, my name is Tamara de Kok. Since September 2024 I started portrait photography. I have always been interested in photography and creativity but never did anything with it. So I bought a camera and 50mm lens in September and just started practicing. Soon I received many compliments and the photos began to look more and more professional. I’m Kristof, a photographer based in Switzerland. I don’t chase trends or perfection. I’m drawn to presence, to something unguarded, a quiet intensity, a moment that doesn’t ask to be looked at but stays with you once you’ve seen it. My focus is portraiture, but not in the classical sense. I don’t photograph how someone looks. I photograph what echoes. The way someone holds their breath. The pause before they speak. The flicker of distance in their eyes. I don’t direct much. I don’t talk much. I wait. Until something shifts. And that’s when the image happens. Some pictures are precise. Others feel like fragments. I never know in advance. But I know the difference between something posed and something real. That’s the only thing I care about. Photography isn’t my profession. It’s my way of paying attention, to others, and maybe also to myself. Everything I submit here carries that same question: Was something alive, or was it just well lit?

It’s both a form of art and a way of preserving memories, and that combination makes it incredibly rewarding for me. Based in Zwanenburg a village nearby Haarlem, I specialize in portraits, branding, family, but I'm always up for an adventure wherever the story takes me. I can tailor it to match your exact vibe!

I have been photographing for more than 40 years, both privately and professionally, covering everything from motor racing to model photography. My interest lies in people, so I spend my time on portrait and street photography. My goal is to capture the moment and the presence.
