I'm Suruchi Drolia, a professional portrait photographer, based out of Bengaluru, India. I have this insatiable love for memories and photos. Now, here's a little background on me. I actually started as a Chartered Accountant, delving into the world of tax consulting for a decade. But you know what? My heart was calling me towards something different, something that truly set my soul on fire. And that's when I discovered my passion for photography. I took a leap and completed a full-time summer course in photography in New York, from Parsons School of Design. Ever since then, I've been immersing myself in the magical realm of portrait & fashion photography.

Every once in a while, when I look back at those good old carefree days, the harder it gets for me to realize that it’s me, the lad who never dreamt of being here, doing this. But then, it dawns upon me that this is life, beautiful with all its uncertainties. Being a photographer has taught me the value of a second. It has changed my perspective towards people and nature. It has made me realize that I have the power to seize the moment and capture it in a way which will be forever cherished. When I look at my favorite photographs I see lots of special and amazing memories. In my own work, I am rewarded not only with the visual reminder, but an emotional reminder since every photo I make is also a part of my life’s experience. Most importantly I have learned that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Mijn naam is Eric Konings. Professioneel fotograaf. Al meer dan 30 jaar. Met een passie voor het creëren van beeld. Met een eigen stijl. In 1984 afgestudeerd als fotograaf aan de School voor Fotografie in den Haag. Vanaf dat moment werkzaam in de commerciële bedrijfsfotografie, reclamefotografie, portretfotografie en bruidsfotografie. In mijn studio in Wolphaartsdijk maak ik zowel familie als zakelijke portretten. Maar ook op locatie fotografeer ik graag grote groepen met als decor het prachtige Zeeland.

A creative born in South America, raised in Toronto. Photography has been a part of my life for a long time. My interest in this art form started when I took a photography class in high school to get an easy credit. Little did I know that it would spark a passion and a love for this craft. Since then, I have developed my skills at portraiture, glamour, fashion, and now family portraits. I strive to make every photography session an exciting and fun experience, while capturing the essence and beauty of the moment with an artistic vision.

Valentin Blank shoots nonconformism, quirkiness and rebellion, both in people and architecture. Born in 1974 in Basel (Switzerland) as the son of a sculptor, Valentin was exposed early on to the work of artistic creation. His work as it exists today first took form in 2006. Portraying a person means so much more to Valentin than just spending half an hour with the subject in a studio space and releasing the shutter of his camera. Without exaggeration, every portrait session is a very special moment in his life. It already begins when a new contact is established. The mutual exchange of ideas and wishes means a first rapprochement. In the course of the session, Valentin with his inspiration then fully engages the subject who places his/her trust in him by showing him the openness to be photographed. The interplay of the attitudes in front of and behind the lens create a unique encounter to which the resulting photographs come as a reward. I'm happy to answer your questions!

But after years of working in media I decided it was time to follow my passion. And now I’m a fulltime photographer (since 2023), loving every second of it. People say I am creative, funny and enthusiastic. Some even say I an eye for detail, or I see the bigger picture (don’t know which is better). But my real talent is making women feel comfortable in front of my camera. So they have a great time and get the best photos of themselves.
