I'm a photographer from Germany focusing on expressive portraits of horses and dogs and the bond they share with their humans, taken in natural landscapes as well as unique locations.

I am a learning enthusiastic photographer from Alphen aan den Rijn. From a young age I have been very interested in photography. It fascinates me enormously. It relaxes me and I can express my creativity in it. I hope to develop and grow even more in the coming years. I am mainly into portrait photography and I love to capture people with their own unique look.

I capture the magic of the moment in a lasting memory. Especially for dog and horse photography in an industrial or abandoned setting, my passion is ignited. I am taking the challenge of capturing the connection between humans and animals in clear serene images in these often somewhat bleak locations.

I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, but when I discovered portrait photography—especially children’s portraits—something truly clicked. Capturing the pure, natural essence of children is what I love most. I’m excited to share my work with you!

Als moeder van twee jongens weet ik als geen ander hoe snel de tijd vliegt, en hoe waardevol het is om die kleine, echte momenten vast te leggen. Met veel geduld, oog voor detail en een rustige aanpak leg ik kinderen vast zoals ze écht zijn. In mijn studio draait het om rust, aandacht en vertrouwen, zodat elk kind zich op z’n gemak voelt. I started family photography in 2020 after the birth of my son. I immediately realized that I simply couldn't have enough photos of him and assumed that all mothers (and fathers) felt the same way. For me, I have found the meaning of life with family photography - in my private life I am a mother and in my professional life I am a family photographer - these two parts of my life can be combined wonderfully and I am incredibly happy that I am on this path together with my family and all the other families I get to know on my way. An integral part of family photography are also portraits - the children, the parents - not only together as a family or in maternity shoots, but also stand alone.

Hoi! Mijn naam is Joliene Middeljans, ik ben 28 jaar en in het dagelijks leven werk ik als verpleegkundige in het ziekenhuis. Toen ik 15 jaar oud was ging ik met mijn broer en schoonzus op vakantie naar Italië. Ik had mijn digitale camera bij mij maar deze gaf het na een dag op. De rest van de vakantie mocht ik gebruik maken van de spiegelreflexcamera van mijn schoonzus. Hier begon mijn liefde voor fotografie. Een jaar later kocht ik mijn eerste camera en begon ik met het fotograferen van mijn familie. In de zomer van 2018 besloot ik om iets met mijn liefde voor fotograferen te gaan doen. Een van mijn vriendinnen verwachtte haar eerste kindje en ik fotografeerde haar buik en twee weken later haar kleintje ventje. Niet alleen kan ik mijn liefde voor fotografie op deze manier kwijt, maar ook mijn creativiteit en ambitie om met kinderen en ouders te werken. Inmiddels ben ik al een aantal jaar bezig met het ontwikkelen van mijn eigen stijl en het opzetten van mijn eigen onderneming. Ik vind het belangrijk dat herinneringen vastgelegd worden en omgezet worden naar iets tastbaars. Tijdens een sessie leg ik jullie vast zoals jullie écht zijn.
