Hi I’m Fenny, the woman behind Imperfectionist - photography and more. I’ve always had a fascination for photography, but life directed me to another path. But after years of working in media I decided it was time to follow my passion. And now I’m a fulltime photographer (since 2023), loving every second of it. People say I am creative, funny and enthusiastic. Some even say I have an eye for detail, or I see the bigger picture (don’t know which is better). But my real talent is making women feel comfortable in front of my camera. So they have a great time and get the best photos of themselves. My goal is to help women see that they are beautiful and make them fall in love with themselves again. With my Vintage Boudoir Experience I'll create an unique experience for women to feel this. With a vintage make-over, lots of time and attention and a personalised setting they get a day they will not only remember for the rest of their lives, but treasure it as the day they changed their lives.

Ken Pimontel is a professional portrait photographer located near Antwerp, Belgium. He believes a classical portrait is of great value for everyone and prefers timeless images that display dignity and inner strength. My love for photography started at an early age. Yet I did not immediately choose this. My interest in people and different cultures led me to study Psychology and see the world by flying for KLM. But the love for photography goes where it can't go. At KLM I did beautiful photography projects. For example, with my own project Uit en Thuis, I photographed more than 300 KLM colleagues and published a photo book. I was then asked for various photo shoots. From weddings to professional theater productions, from small branding shoots to large marketing campaigns. My heart lies in portrait photography and in my portraits my passion comes together with my interest in people. I often get feedback that my clients dare to open up with me in front of the camera and that they feel comfortable and at ease. The fact that I can make such a connection with my models is what I think is the best thing about this fantastic profession!

Hoewel ik het al heel lang heerlijk vind om ook op dit vlak creatief bezig te zijn, heb ik me hier een paar jaar geleden echt verder in verdiept. Ik wilde graag de pure oprechte blik vangen van met name Tijmen, onze middelste zoon met een een van autisme, om ook anderen te laten zien wat wij iedere dag mogen zien. Dat hij, ondanks alle hobbels die hij in deze maatschappij moet nemen, een bijzonder en uniek persoon is waar we ontzettend trots op zijn en waar hij ook zelf trots op mag leren zijn. Ik probeer dan ook om een krachtig, puur en natuurlijk portret te maken. Een beeld dat raakt en de herinnering in stand houdt. Een moment om te koesteren. Ik hou ervan om vertrouwen te creëren en me te verdiepen in het verhaal achter de persoon. Op die manier probeer ik iemand vast te leggen.
