Thank you Roger for visiting me in my studio in Lenzburg. This picture was taken with natural light only and shows the calm and thoughtful side of all of us men
59th CollectionAbassia is a Swiss athlete, whose father is originally from Algeria, was born 1992 in Zurich and grew up in a small swiss village with her older brother. Ever since she was young she fulfilled her passion for sports with snowboarding, gymnastics, athletics and horse riding. At the age of 16 both her legs had to be amputated below the knee as a result of contraction with bacterial meningitis in 2009. Five years later she began with competitive Para athletics and celebrated her first medal at the Para European Championships 2016 in Grosseto. The second highlight of her young career followed shortly with the 4th place in the 200m final at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Besides athletics, the commerce graduate who's fluent in German, French and English used to work 70% in international sales up until July 2018 and then started her professional sports career besides studying. If you can’t find her on the track or at the gym there’s a high chance that she’s spending time with her friends and family, she likes music and concerts, action sports, good books and loves to travel the world. I am honoured to had the chance to capture this picture, showing her as a beauriful woman.
57th CollectionThanks to 'bibiqwa' for this moody expression, captured during a home shooting with available light only in the northeastern region of Switzerland.
53rd CollectionFirst visit from Cesare at my studio in Lenzburg, Switzerland, testing some strobe effects. This one was taken with one big octa box.
51st CollectionThanks to Danielle for an amazing afternoon. Despite the fact that we met for the first time, we instantly connected. This shot was taken with a big window on her left side and a simple background.
48th CollectionI got the chance to shoot with Nina, an amazing model from the region of Bern, Switzerland. This picture was taken during day light at the entrance of the castle Thun, a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
46th CollectionThis picture was taken during a Workshop with the outstanding portrait photographer Anton Rothmund with the amazing Evelin when it was warm and sunny. Usually I hate the direct sun light but in this Picture I love the reflection on her hair which provides the something special I try to achieve on my work. Thank you Evelin and Toni!
32nd CollectionSpeech is silver, silence is golden. Schorsch is one of those persons you immediately connect to...even without many words. I strongly believe that nowadays less is even more.
31st CollectionThis Picture was taken during a Workshop class at a local shopfloor where historical trains are restored. The day light Comes from Windows on the right. It was great working with Sina, Sacha & Pascale!
30th CollectionWe had a library room for ourselves with the window in my back. This is the result. Pat, thank you for this one! I very much enjoyed the time working with you!
28th CollectionI love working with available light. Having the chance to get together with Pat for a shooting, it just confirmed that once again. Despite the challenge to find the light it is the moment when all comes together that makes me take along my camera ever day.
28th CollectionThis Picture was taken almost at midday with full sunshine. The model was standing right at the entry door way to a public car park. The light bokeh at the back is coming from lamps at the side of the car way, which directs the car to the Underground parking lot. Big thanks goes to Toni and Evelin for making this Picture possible.
