Twentieth Collection
I always wanted to photograph a styling with butterflies. Pictures with butterflies have a special character. In this case, the stylist used the theme again in eye make-up. I think the make-up in particular was very beautiful.

It was a lovely autumn afternoon when I shot this photo of the beautiful Yessy in Lübeck, Germany. I like the combination of the artistic graffiti in the background and the beauty of Yessy. I decided to edit the photo in black and white with a lot of contrast to emphasize this combination. And after editing I thought it looks like an add campaign for adidas ;-)
By the lights
This was shoot 7 AM, when the city of Joensuu was silent, only couple of cigarette smokers were present at the streets. We shoot some street photography with environmental lights only, camera on one hand and with some plexiglass on other hand. And the great model is Verna Honkanen from Joensuu.
A beautiful woman, stairs and some natural light - often this is all you need.

Many thanks to model and make-up artist for this joint work
Newly engaged and deeply in love, these two were easy to photograph. With a century old white chapel as their backdrop, her Edwardian style lace top, the overcast sky and a light dusting of rain to set the mood, the magic of this Engagement Portrait came to life. It feels like a scene from a John William Waterhouse painting; romantic, timeless and unforgettable.

The official plan for that day was an autumn-outdoor-shoot. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was not so promising, so we collected a huge pile of leaves a couple of days before the shoot and let them dry. We had quite a lot of fun (and produced a huge mess ;) ), playing with the leaves in the studio and also, we made a couple of great pics.
Huge thank you to my great team! <3

One of the sportiest person I know. Vanessa is a power woman, I love her kickpower and Strong by Zumba hours.
She can motivate everyone!
A great colleague, I'm proud of her.
I met this young woman from Germany at the Workshop by Marco Gressler Photography and really liked her look.
Some weeks later she was again in Switzerland and I had the opportunity to shot with her in the City of Zürich.
First we thougth that we have to cancel the shooting, since the weather forecast was really bad. However, it was cold indeed but no rain and so I could take some great Pictures of her. Big thanks to Doomed Puppet.

After a funeral I felt like I needed a walk. My Girl said she would be happy to go with me. We drove in rain in to a place we have never been to in a city we were not familiar with. We found a perfect place to walk and take some photos. This is her in rain, after a funeral of her great grandmother.
The original shooting was just over when we went out to eat a pizza. While waiting for delivery my model went tired. Calming down means (especially for experienced models) that they get rid of their usual posings. This was the moment when I said: Please, change nothing! Just stay as you are, I need to take a last picture. And this was it.
I took this picture of the adorable model Lara Vogel during a workshop with my role model Marco Gressler. The soft light is natural light from a window on a cloudy day.
This was my first Studio Shoot, so it is very special to me. My Model Anastasia is a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul and was my muse for this photoshoot.

This was a photo concept I had and Isla was the perfect person to execute it.
She’s was immediately on and getting into it and that made this photo. It was lit with 2 lights one beauty dish wrapped in red gel and one snoot (key light) in green gel. The idea was to spotlight only her and have whatever wasn’t overpowered by green, fall off red...
What about the spray painted devil??? So appropriate, that’s all Isla Fisher!

Styling by me.
This was a very simple but heartfelt shoot for me. I wanted to work as light as possible for this one. I was coming out from a job where I had to carry lots of equipment, listen to many people's opinions around me and had to check part of my own creative brain at the door. This shoot was completely unplanned: "let's see what we can do with the least possible" and I absolutely loved the results. Sometimes we just need to stop and listen to our heart.
I shot this with one of my favorite collaborators, Jennaca Burke, who was not only the model and makeup artist, but she created the headpiece as well. Hair styling by Ryan Harris. Location: Philadelphia. Lighting: Paul Buff Alien Bees (with medium softbox and grids). Photoshop: lots.

"Father"
The captured moment is very expressive and contains the story of my father’s life. Time, spent together reminded me of his openness, modesty, and happiness, and all that was floating through his deep, warm eyes. The natural light and the beautifully arranged fruit trees gave me an opportunity to create this beautiful photo portrait.
