I am a people & lifestyle photographer, mainly focusing on black and white pictures. I am based in Aarau, but als serving the wider area of Zürich.

I came to photography as a hobby in the last 2 years. I never thought that portrait photography would capture me as much. My aim with my pictures is to awaken people's emotions for the beautiful in people.

I mostly use natural light and love to play with some effects with water/wind or what ever, that gives this little extra punch - and sometimes a challenge where i can earn so much experience - to my work.

I started photography as a hobbyist, immediately I was caught. I love the game between the technical part of the camera and creativity I can squeeze out from the camera. These days photography is more than a hobby. Currently I am inspired by contemporary photographers like Peter Coulson or Peter Lindberg. My goal is to highlight the beauty, mostly of women. It is important to me to increase the self-confidence of the models. The best inspiration usually comes during my work and is always an interaction between model and photographer.

My name is Alexander Forst, known in photography as PortraitPhotoN for portraits and LXPhotoN for landscapes. Originally from Berlin, I have been living in Switzerland for 11 years, passionately photographing portraits, landscapes, and street photography. For me, a great portrait is more than just an image – it should tell a story, convey emotion, and reveal the person behind it. I am a portrait & headshot photographer residing at Lake Zurich in Switzerland. Having spent more than two decades in IT Management photography is my second, more fulfilling career. I’m Kristof, a photographer based in Switzerland. I don’t chase trends or perfection. I’m drawn to presence, to something unguarded, a quiet intensity, a moment that doesn’t ask to be looked at but stays with you once you’ve seen it. My focus is portraiture, but not in the classical sense. I don’t photograph how someone looks. I photograph what echoes. The way someone holds their breath. The pause before they speak. The flicker of distance in their eyes. I don’t direct much. I don’t talk much. I wait. Until something shifts. And that’s when the image happens. Some pictures are precise. Others feel like fragments. I never know in advance. But I know the difference between something posed and something real. That’s the only thing I care about. Photography isn’t my profession. It’s my way of paying attention, to others, and maybe also to myself. Everything I submit here carries that same question: Was something alive, or was it just well lit?
