I am a people & lifestyle photographer, mainly focusing on black and white pictures. I am based in Aarau, but als serving the wider area of Zürich.

I came to photography as a hobby in the last 2 years. I never thought that portrait photography would capture me as much. My aim with my pictures is to awaken people's emotions for the beautiful in people.

I am Alexander Forst, also known as LXPhoton for Landscape and Portraitphoton for Portrait, a Berlin-born, Swiss-based photographer with an internationally awarded and published body of work. I first gained international recognition through Milky Way and landscape photography, with multiple awards and publications in nightscape and nature imagery, complemented by selected work in street, reportage and cultural photography. Today, my primary focus is fine art, fashion and conceptual portraiture, where I bring dramatic light, refined colour palettes and crafted atmospheres together to create cinematic, character-driven portraits recognised in international distinctions. For me, a great portrait is more than just an image – it should tell a story, convey emotion, and reveal the person behind it. Every face, every posture, every glance carries a unique depth that I strive to capture through my lens. I am a portrait & headshot photographer residing at Lake Zurich in Switzerland. Having spent more than two decades in IT Management photography is my second, more fulfilling career. I have a passion for art and like to see humanity in images. Therefore I love to show the personality in people with their expression.

Fotografie dient mir nicht als Abbildung sondern als konzeptuelles Werkzeug zur Übersetzung innerer Zustände in visuelle Form. Meine Arbeiten wurden professionell reviewed von Lou ann Albiol Ducos aus dem Umfeld der international führenden Galerie Almine Rech Paris London New York einer der Top 20 Galerien weltweit. Die Review bestätigt eine mastery of technical control die Erforschung von Licht als Medium und Motiv sowie die Fähigkeit einfache Darstellungen in psychologische Bildräume zu überführen. Meine Praxis bewegt sich im Spannungsfeld von Konzept Fotografie Bewegung und Zeit. Die Arbeiten richten sich an galerieaffine und institutionelle Kontexte sowie an ernsthafte Sammlerinnen und Sammler. Die Marktposition wurde mit klarem Entwicklungspotenzial eingeordnet.
