This photo was taken at Skagit Valley Tulips Festival in Washington state in April, 2016. After most of the visitors left, my wife and I held each other’s hands wandering in this romantic red tulip sea. Under such soft sunset light, I took a picture of her to memorize this love moment.

Caroline was enjoying a day on the beach in Palm Beach, FL. The wind was just right and the light was perfect. Something makes you wonder, what was shelooking for?

A super quick portrait shot with Francesca during our first collaboration in Milano. The cyan in the highlights helps in adding a light and magical feel to the gaze.

This young lady called me and said she needed a new headshot for her work as a spokeswoman. She was just one of those clients that you instantly feel comfortable with like old friends. She was a delight to work with. Turns out that her boyfriend is actually a model and we ended up shooting him the next day. Funny thing is the two shot selected as winners are of her and her boyfriend. Couldn't have written it better. Thanks

It is very different to photograph people you love, as opposed to strangers you’ve never met. Is it easier or harder? I’d say both.
It’s easier because communication is simpler and because you know every corner of their face; but it’s harder because they expect perfection from you and they criticise you more openly.
It is also harder because you love their face, so every angle is beautiful in your lens - but they don’t see it that way and voice it in every step.
But in the end, when THEY too love the image as much as you do, then you know you’ve done right! This is my daughter and it was the first time I photographed her myself. It was a labour of love and I probably was more nervous to photographer her than a client, and I absolutely LOVE this image, its spirit, its relaxed nature and the abandon in trust it projects.
I made a whole series of pictures with Laura. One was more beautiful than the other, because Laura is so beautiful. This picture has touched me again and again in a special way. An incredible look and a little prickling note. When I tried it in black / white, the result was surprising.
Title: Have I lost all that is true?
Model: Lauren Brenc
Camera: Sony A7RII
Lens : Zeiss Batis 85mm

During a recent group shoot in Atlanta, I was fortunate to notice in the background someone who was not their to model. I asked her if she would be willing to pose for me and the result of our 5 minutes together resulted in the best images I have taken in some time. It turns out that Lauren is indeed a model, and a very good one. The way in which we worked together was effortless and I found at each and every shutter press Lauren was engaged, eager and passionate. Engagement of the model (wether professional or amateur) a presence is the quintessential quality I am looking for in my images. If I cannot connect with the person in front of my lens, I cannot expect the viewer to either.
Beautiful Olga Vintaniuc - I got inspired by Sin City and see in here a "Goldie". Besides being an expressive and excellent model, Olga is also a very talented painter! Make sure you look her up and enjoy her beautiful art. I had a great team assisting me on this shot and credits for the make-up go to Larisa Bejan and to Gabriela Andrei for the beautiful curls.

Nowadays applying for a job is getting harder and harder. Therefore I am focusing when I take pictures on a very strong and clean look of my model. The first impression of an application will always be the image itself. Many thanks to Vanessa!

A wind blown beautiful mess in Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. The wood grain and colours were the perfect addition to her style and the light in the mountain that day was wonderful just behind her and to the right. Shot mid afternoon

A screen-grab from a video I shot as a trailer for this upcoming photoshoot in Milano. I wanted to create a dreamy feel, as if we're in another world, a certain state of mind, instead of a realistic color and mood rendering.

This was shot in Jamaica and inspired by the colors and flamboyancy of Peacocks. I created the head piece using peacock feathers and multi colored feathers as well as gems and jewels. The dress was a vintage piece that I picked up at a used clothing store. I love how this whole shoot turned out, not to mention the model was just fantastic!
I love Headpieces. I’m planning to make more pictures with conspicuous headpieces in the future. Too bad, beautiful clothes cost a lot of money. So we came up with the idea of body painting. KC, the model also is an incomprehensible creative stylist and she had this idea.

Beautiful Luisa - she's one of my favorite muses and always love shooting her!
She's the kind of model that if you get in front of your camera, you'll always get very good shots.
I was inspired to do this session after seeing a strikingly beautiful nun. I hunted down this late 1800's old stone church in the middle of nowhere for the session and created the costume using modern and vintage fabrics and design. I love how these photos turned out!
