South African model, Gerrit de Lange, from Cape Town. He is an international model for different brands. Right now he is the brand model for German Bitburger Beer company. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYdjlt7UDRw
I met Gerrit in Cape Town in December 2016 just by chance. We had a great time together and we are still friends.
It's always a pleasure to work with Laura. She is not only beautiful but also 150% professional and nice to work with. Pictures with her always look beautiful. The feeling of "being deep in herself" especially appealed to me in this picture. Like she was completely on her own with no world outside. I also like the light that supports this emotional impression.
This photo was taken while visiting family on their farm in the Klein Karoo, South Africa. I always love engaging these two sisters as subjects purely for the exuberant amount of joy they have for life, true farm bread, nature’s children. My daughter and myself cannot wait for our next visit.

There is actually a pretty cool story behind this photo session. I have only been a "photographer" for a little over a year. I am definitely realizing that it is truly my passion. All I ever think or talk about is how I can do better. This is actually a senior session. I think maybe the 3rd or 4th I've ever done. I was wanting to build up my senior clientele, so I did this session for free. How gorgeous is this babe?? I got so lucky. And as soon as I snapped this shot, I knew it was going to be my favorite.

What do you do with Lana, a ladder in the forest...? well... :-)
We used a portable flash system with a 100cm deep octa. I used it in HS mode.

This is the first time I've worked with Neleta. Beautiful portraits have come from our 4 hour shoot. She is gorgeous and very expressive at the same time. What I particularly liked about this picture was that it was possible to convey the impression of luxury and peculiarity with a piece of braid. A little bit of eroticism is not missing also :-) Model: Neleta.de
