Fourteenth Collection

"Silence"
This photo came out partially by accident. I was pursuing a picture where the hair would be floating backwords. When I was editing the series of pictures my attention was caught by this one and the tellin expression of Anastasias look. This picture is almost a year old but still is one of my favorite pictures.

Zafir took part in my panel of 20 images, showing peoples Alter Ego. Zafir is a beautiful viking as often as possible.
She told me, it goes way back - like 15 years. "It was love, that lead me to the viking community. My family and I travels around Europe as vikings and craftsmen in the summertime. Living with my family in own made tents, clothes, jewelry and food," she said, "you feel the touch of the history, and it gets in your blood."

A Innocent child portrait under a dramatic natural Colours of love where I shot against the Natural in order to purposely create a lens flare which spilled over the subject.
It was spontaneous photo shoot at my home studio, playing with natural colours of parents love.
This moment is so funny and cute.. because the kisses on his face is given by my wife and The Picture is Of My Own son. Great Feeling..!

I met a photographer called Mona Munshi on Instagram. She's based out of London. We got together for this shoot while she was in Dubai along with her friend and Make Up artist Samia (@amiraprestige). Our rising star Payal was the model for this one. I had just started experimenting with coloured gels and Mona's Ice Light added a whole new dimension to this photo.

I really wanted to portray a vibrant, lighthearted scene of the joy of drinking a delicious strawberry milkshake. You can feel the cold flavor spread everywhere inside you, and I thought I could best capture that with color.

For the wedding of their teacher, the schoolchildren may wear the traditional ‘Staphorster klederdracht’. A costume that nowadays mainly belongs to dutch heritage. The girl on this picture is sitting in an old schoolbus to go to civil marriage in the town hall. You can see some tension on her face for what’s going on.

It is always wonderful to meet with KC to make new creative pictures. Not only does she look wonderful, but she also always has new, wonderful styling ideas. This time it was a lite and relaxed atmosphere: a nice red cloth wrapped around the body, a few flowers in the hair and a dreamlike make up. The result simply amazing.

This is one of many pictures of my girlfriend Sara.
When I shoot her, I try to make the viewer see her as I see her - my deep love and facination.

A plain portrait of a red-haired beautiful woman - that is it.
taken with available light in a forest nearby - waited for a few Clouds to soften the light.

Dana asked us to capture this point in her progress of gaining the figure she's always wanted. 6 months prior to this shoot she changed her diet, incorporated a strict work out routine and put aside all doubt. From obese to OMG in just a few months! Insane determination and it paid off. I wanted to incorporate something dramatic into her shoot to mirror the dramatic transformation she has achieved. Single lighting can do that. Congratulations to her for this massive accomplishment. You look amazing Dana!

This was actually a shoot with a young girl from the neighbourhood. She's not a model and she's not familiar with posing in front of the camera but she did an awesome job! I think she's really talented! This shot we did at our home and between us there's a window. Just available light and nothing else.

Georgeous Venla Nikulainen performs as the model in this picture. Photo is taken at Nikita Tikka's workshop, using natural light only. I was immidiately infatuated by the ambiance created by the light coming thourgh the window. Venla looks just like a princess.

Kim took part in my panel of 20 images, showing peoples Alter Ego. In his working hours he is a window cleaner, and when ever he has the time, he is a Muay Thai Kickboxer. He has enjoyed the sport for years, and fonds the control in both training as in a fight, where coordination and precision works perfect together.

"I'm equal with my opponent, and I can only think about the fight. No clients og employees can reach me here, where I'm 100% focused," he says.
