Twenty-Fifth Collection
…walking through Zurich city like a tourist with an old camera.
This was a really funny shooting with Ex Miss Switzerland Nadine Vinzens. She grew up in a small town called Chur (CH) and moved years ago to Los Angeles and take a new challenge as an movie actor. Indeed, I took the chance to take some wonderful pictures with her during her short visit in beautiful Switzerland.
This photo was taken on a Family Photo Shoot in Central Park, New York City. Mia is such a beautiful young lady, the camera loved her. I brought lots of girly things for her to use as props balloons & bubbles etc, but she did not need them as she was so into the shoot it was such a pleasure to photograph her and her lovely family.

A recent relocation to Mexico City brought about the need to connect with new faces, and to find somewhere to shoot. An after noon shooting local talent in the South of the city lead to a number of great portraits, this being one of them. While I am currently working in Dubai, I look forward to returning to Mexico City in the summer and hope to continue where I left off in regard to having a functioning studio space to use. I am looking forward to finding many more faces in the summer.
The first but certainly not the last shooting with the enchanting Mizzi. Natural light in black and white. (Instagram: @official_mizzi)
My company @pureallurephoto gets asked to do a lot of crazy shoots. Most of them we turn down. But when Corey says to me "I'm thinking about doing a Rosie the Riveter look for a Pin-Up session. You wanna shoot it?......I have a fully restored WWII airplane we can use." No thinking required, my response was immediate "YES!". @coreydeee.91 dolled up for the session and toughed out the cold rain for us to create this look. She stole the show from that plane that has had so much care and attention put into its restoration. We had a blast and every image was amazing! Thank you Corey!!! We had so much fun!

The love between my sister and her lover on a warm evening in April. The sun was soft shining through the trees, giving the photo a warm glow.
Model: Ingvill
The model in this particular image is of my beautiful and amazing wife.
This creative shot was taken in the comfort of our home living room during mid-afternoon.
Lighting setup: a Profoto (B1) strobe with 2x3 foot soft box (at camera left), flagged-off with a black v-board, created this amazing contrast. At the rear I used a second Profoto strobe (D2) with a zoom reflector and grid to create a halo/gradient on a black background behind the model.
Camera: Hasselblad H6D-50c
Lens: HC 100 f/2.2
Settings: ISO 100, f/9, 1/250s

I took this photo while shooting stills for Biisonimafia, a Finnish YouTube group, which was filming their latest comedy series. One of the scenes involved the main characters in a bath tub, and before the actual filming started I took a couple of shots of the actress, Janni Hussi. And boy, did she nail it!

The model in this picture is Sunci. She is the typical nice girl next door with not much experience as a model. At this sunny and warm day, we went off to take some great pictures of her and she did a great job.
One Result of our Shooting is this Picture. I called the picture "Do not mess with dangerous girls", because their look in this shot is absolutely seductive and dangerous at the same time. The picture was taken with natural light in a very bright barbershop. The target was to catch her look with this glowing turquoise eyes.
Doing portraits with a woman like Nakriko is a selfstarter. Only a large window front served as the light source.

During a Master Class in Rome directed and supervised by Marianna Santoni and Julia Kuzmenko, I tried to create a light set that could try to reproduce a light effect similar to sunlight. I have used only one Flash Elincrome without modifier with a direct light and a white reflecting panel, trying to soften the shadows.
Laura (the model) with her own elegance, has granted the right harmony to make this shot.

Aino is one of my trusted volunteer models. I love to photograph her because she has so powerfull and beautiful face. Every frame with her is golden. ✌
Title: Red-haired Beauty. This portrait was taken with the popular model Kate Ri in Milan. The colours of her eyes, combined with the colours of her hair gave me the opportunity to take this special portrait during our shooting session. I used a single flash with a big octa and a reflector to smooth some of the shades. Kate's skills and beauty made all the rest ...
This was one of the only times I used artificial lighting for a photo. Almost everything I shoot is in natural light, but I wanted to try something different. We were super excited about what we got. The model is John Carroll. He was awesome to work with!
