This year in October, I went on a photography trip to Switzerland. A trip that was on my bucket-list for a long time, and finally after 2 years of waiting was actually going to happen. We went to the most amazing places and shot the best models we could ever wish for! On this photo you see Anita and her beautiful white fairytale pony Dolly, who lives with her horses in-between the mountains. We Dutchies couldn't believe what we saw... a horseranch in the middle of the mountains?! How is that even possible! But it seemed to fit perfect for Anita and her family.

I wanted to try a different angle from what I'm used to shoot from. The bending of the neck and the beautiful light on it captured my eye, so I quickly took some shots and it worked out stunning! I really love photos with horses bending their neck to show more shape and curves in the image.

I really love this Arabian vibe photo, I made it on a rainy and windy day in February. The horse and his owner didn't care the typical Dutch weather during winter, together they brighten up the whole photoshoot.

These cute toddlers loved to model with their ponies during one of my heather workshops. They all started riding their ponies when they were just three years old. Their parents also ride horses and they do everything they can to give their three little miracles the best childhood they could ever wish for. I might be a little bit jealous lol.

This is my own dog, a Hungarian Vizsla called Nero. I've trained him a lot in the first two years, started at the first day he joined our family. He loves to go for a long walk through the forests, especially when he needs to pose on a platform. It's like he almost knows he's too hot to handle for my camera.

This beautiful friesian horse and it's owner were perfect models during a black beauty workshop in the Netherlands. The curly manes match perfect with the blond curls of his owner. I really love the colours of the area, and the reflection in the water matching the girl's dress.
