Sixty-Fifth Collection
The beautiful model in the frame is Phylactere Rayna https://www.studiophyla.com/ https://www.facebook.com/phylactere.rayna https://www.instagram.com/phylactere_ontheroad/. She has rich dance background, and as no one other, she can express emotions through movement. During the session I asked Phylactere if she could create a vintage dance pose which could be emotional, sensual, soft and strong at the same time, and miracle happened, shot was done, and I gladly spent a lot of postprocessing time to give it exactly look as I want. I thank Phylactere for amazing work in front of my camera. Also, a big thank you to PPA for the recognition of our effort.
Fine art portrait of Sasha Tarnovecky
I love sessions like this, when I can create any styling, I wish.
I was surprised and glad when Sasha contacted with me and said she wants styled portraits and send me as a reference another portrait I have done for another girl.
We scheduled a day and time and I started to think about outfits.
I like create costumes from different fabrics and old clothes, but it is hard, when you did not meet a model in person yet, imaging which set will fit her better. I also always ask models to bring some things from their own wardrobe so I can combine their things with mine.
On these pictures we used Sasha’s blouses from Zara, my vintage dress with floral ornate, which we used as a skirt, another brown velvet dress which is really huge size, but we clipped it on back; thick yarn throw and simple black ribbons as hair accessories and a belt; also we used three white IKEA curtains with white black kashne which my mom did from my old trousers.
I hope you like my ideas and I will be glad to your comments. Check out whole series to see other pictures.
Bernie is an amazing performer and musician, needed an image for his album cover for his upcoming CD. Since he is performing jazz music we decided to produce a classic low-key portrait of him. We created a few variations with different poses and outfits for the collection and he was in love with the resaults.
Photo project filmed with acting dancer Astana Opera Theater. Sharpness, clarity and grace at the same time. Ballet dancer.
Technical Info Sony a7M3, 70mm, f4, 1 to 160 seconds, ISO 640.
A Probable Death of Pinocchio
Influenced by the 1883 children's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, this is one piece of a series of self-portraits. A Probable Death of Pinocchio is inspired by an oil on canvas of the same name by Italian artist Walther Jervolino who tried to conceive an alternative destiny for Pinocchio, which was guilty, according to Jervolino, of being a traitor towards his father, Geppetto.
«Most unfortunately, in the lives of puppets there is always a 'but' that spoils everything.»
—Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio
@whoisshadia is the modern version of "the girl with the pearl earring". It was a fun challenge, trying to "reproduce" this famous painting with a modern flair.
I have known Renato for some time as both of our sons were playing in the same floorball team. He visited me at my photo studio as his son needed some pictures for his application documents. So I asked him whether he would have a minute to take a portrait. Here the result. Thanks Renato!
I called this photo "should I buy a new one". My beautiful model Daiana reads a car magazine while lying in a swimming pool. The yellow Porsche in the magazine and the blue water create a nice contrast to her deep brown skin and look absolutely fantastic.
We already had a photo shoot with a vintage Porsche 911, so it seemed logical to, me that she should think about a new one ;-)
Only natural light was used as the light source.
Lisa and I did some different sets and it was a pleasure working with her. Very natural posing and we are very happy with the results!
Magic blue hour, this is the moment when all photographers and models have already left the field and missed this beautiful time.
Portrait of my son Holland shot in my living room with a Nikon Z6 one ad200 camera left and above and one ad200 behind him to his right.
THE magic look through the camera. I love vintage and I love it when a model is special and extraordinary and lets herself fall like that in my style.

Playing with colored gels in the studio we got this great fitness photo. A bit harsh lighting to make contrast on reliefs and get depth in the model's muscles. We loved the end result.
In the middle of the Swiss forest, a T steel girder protrudes from the ground and the atmosphere is sunset. this is how this wonderful picture came about.
This young confident woman posed beautifully in my studio. What a beautiful face she has. She has the ambition to become a model. I'm sure her dream will come true.
This picture was taken at a parking lot next to the main road near Lenzburg/AG, Switzerland. Alayah is standing in the shadow of a tree, at her back the wall of a building. This was the first time we worked together; thank you Alayah for your trust.
In this picture I photographed my stunning model Violeta from a somewhat unusual perspective, as she looks out of the car. I called the picture "Jump in! ... and let's follow the sun"
I only used natural light.
The perfect sunset, which helped us achieve this warm but sophisticated and elegant summer shot for a swimsuit brand, along with the perfect outfit, model and spot.
In the middle of winter, on the way to the actual location, I saw this bridge. and I thought ok, now we have to take a picture spontaneously.
