Topaz, a classic portrait of a modern girl. When I contacted Topaz's mother to ask if she would like to pose for me, I got acquainted with a young bright girl, with a sportive nature. This photo session is a complete make-over, and still, I see her true nature shining through. This portrait is my favorite, it is a natural pose she took between our sessions, and when I captured it I knew that this is the one. This moment shows the connection within herself, a moment of silence, of retrospection, a reminiscence of timeless elegance in a too fast-paced world, where the vibes of a world long gone touches the borders of our modern world.

Keagan is 6 years old and the moment I walked into my studio I couldn’t wait for post-production. This boy is so unique and confident in his being it made my work as a photographer easy.

Awaiting... the not yet motherly embraced identity and at the same time so deeply engraved anticipation of the new love and the need to protect that it wakes her up at night and makes her body ache. The first time motherhood - uncertain, naive, romantic. Happens only once.

This shot was taken with my model @vaneschkal in a bakery of a metro station in Bonn. I stood outside to capture those nice window reflections.
