Eleventh Collection

My title for this Picture is "When Life is pouring down on you". english is not my first language. so, forgive me if it sounds not quite right. I was going for a lost look for the picture, showing a woman lost in thoughts, seeing that she is feeling blue, trying to protect herself under a umbrella - yet distant, not in reach to give her comfort. And Vita (@vitagoncharuk ) did a great job. Thank you, Vita.

Dark, but deep looking eyes can tell you the most bright story of love. These short, but the most valuable moments in life is what matters the most. Memories and stories not an empty photographs.

This photo was not meant to happen. 30 minutes after the planned starting time of the session and still counting, I waited for the young lady to finish her meticulous preparations for her confirmation photo session. I soon realized that we did not have enough time to carry out the session as I had planned it. Disappointed, I ended up having only 15 minutes with her until our time was up. The results were not my best work. I was not happy with this, so I set up another session with her in the evening in downtown Helsinki. There everything clicked - not just my shutter. In the Old Church Park the session got the time and attention it deserved, and our efforts were awesomely rewarded with the creamy light and evening sun dancing in the background.

When it comes to you, I break all the rules..

With this picture, the unusual and extremely wonderful and special make up and styling of and by KC is clearly in the foreground. It was quite clear that the picture needed nothing more than to put this in the foreground and give it the full attention. The styling has something that reminded me of robes from Games of Thrones or Star Wars or similar films and that is what I tried to underlined with the retouching.

At the end of a really cold November afternoon 2016
I "used" the last reserves of my freezing model and the sparsely light
for some amazing photography!
From this session the photo accrued.
I am very proud, that I have taken this photo.

This great model, Alina Pastsenko drove 500 kilometers to be photographed by me and we did some portraiture and some boudoir. Stunning model, those eyes can bring stories to life as you can see

I Love to tell visual stories, I love to make people think.This right here is one of those pieces,"The young black girl" she emerges from a place of shyness and fear and steps into the light, the transition is fast and demanding.She cannot go back, each step into uncertainty makes her realize just how much she's capable of.

Model Carrie Kelman, photo was taken during a photo session at The Image Flow Studios, Mill Valley, California. She is a gymnast and dance performer.

Taken in a Castle in Switzerland in January 2017. The temperature was around 10 degrees in the room (outdoor -5 degress). We used a heater for about 6 hours but the room was still as cold as in the morning. Vita (@vitagoncharuk ) and I decided to go with this blue Dress instead of the shoulderfree one. It was the right decision! I used a 180cm umbrella, turned slightly away from Vita, relativatly close to her. I wanted to have a soft light with a natural fall off in the corners of the Picture. The posing should fit to old paintings in the background. Vita did a great job!

Underestimate me. Go ahead.

The model in this image is Carrie Kelman, who is an accomplished gymnast and dancer. The photo was taken at the Image Flow Studios, in Mill Valley, California.

Nathalie embodies wonderful sweetness with youthfulness and delicacy. I wanted to bring all this into the portrait.
I also experimented with light again. In this case, with a second light source, a strip light, which highlight the wonderful blonde hair super beautiful.

The model in this image, Karol, is an expert aerialist and yogi. The photo was taken using Profoto B 1 monolights, at Splash Light Studios, located in the Wynwood area in Miami, Florida.
