Naast alle retrievers, bordercollies, poedels, corgi's en tig andere bekende rassen is het natuurlijk ook leuk om een ras voor mijn lens te krijgen waarvan ik nog niet had gehoord. Rafi is een Saluki, dit hondenras is afkomstig uit het Midden-Oosten en werd daar gezien als een statussymbool. Hij straalde een bepaalde allure uit, kwam helemaal tot zijn recht tussen de pilaren.

In "Pink Fighter," I captured the juxtaposition of feminine strength and childhood determination. The vibrant pink boxing gloves and matching outfit create a bold color statement against the dramatic black background. I used controlled studio lighting to sculpt the subject's fierce expression and athletic stance. The monochromatic pink palette challenges traditional color associations while celebrating empowerment. Her confident posture and direct gaze convey resilience and determination. This portrait explores themes of breaking stereotypes and embracing inner strength, showing how sport can build character and confidence. What a morning. We stood up at around 4am to be prepared for the sunrise and we were more than happy with our early wake up. Model @kathrine.vollen
