Thirteenth Collection
This photo was taken at a local park which is a favorite location for outdoor shoots. The image was captured just after sunset, using the warm ambient light, as a main light source and strobe as fill. The background was slightly under exposed, all combining to give a soft warm glow to the skin tones of Estefania, the beautiful subject of this image.
One of the first portraits taken with my LED lights and one of the first pictures taken in my 250 year old cellar. thank you, Angelina. You can see the old stones in the background.

I was just playing around with my model, talking some crazy words and catch this amazing spontaneous smile. I loved her outfit the red color giving a extra pop on the colors from our photo location.

The picture was taken in 2016. The goal is a simple clear photo that does not show the usual editing.
"Field of Wishes"
I am always scouting for beautiful locations, so when I drove past this field north of Toronto, needless to say I did a u-turn and parked my car on the gravel sideroad. It was the perfect combination for the session I would have later on that day for my commercial client Trendy Bambini. The sun hanging low in the late fall sky, the abnormal summer-like temperature in November and the field of wishes just waiting for three girls in dreamy dresses to wish with. The child in me was beyond happy and the girls didn't want to leave. It was magical.

I wanted to create drama using natural light. The only color in this photo is on her lips. I feel like this photo expresses a sense of calm and strength.
This image is from a series of pin-up/pop-art inspired images Iโm working on at the moment. I shoot the images in the studio on a pop-art background. Here it is one of my favourite models (who also happens to be my stepdaughter).

it was a misty day in november. the mist was losing against the sun.

The photo was taken in New York, somewhere on the outskirts of the northern part of Manhattan. This is a portrait of a true cook, working in one of the local restaurants.
This pictures was taken after a rain shower on a bridge for pedestrians. this bridge is hanging under a Highway bridge. The Highway covers most of it - just a gap of about 1m lets the rain through.
I wanted to show the depth of this bridge, going into a overexposed middle - showing some kind of infinity.

This subject of this photo, Johanna Eckardt, is a fitness instructor and the owner of Star Dust Fitness Studios, located in the City of Doral, Florida. Ms Eckardt is a specialist in Anti Gravity Fitness, Suspension and Steel Mace training. The image was taken at Star Dust Studios using a three light set up designed to accentuate Ms Eckardt's well toned physique.
A afternoon with a great model, a brand new camera and my portable flash - Play time.
Usually my favorite light former is a 70cm or 100cm beauty dish - for this Picture I just used a 18cm standard reflector with a grid.
Thanks for playing, Jasmine! Great!
