Twelfth Collection
This image is of Model Patricia Faolli. I found this oark close to my house as I was walking my dog. I loved the deep orange lighting and thought it would make for an interesting spot for a night portrait. Once there I decided to use a complementary gel color as a rim/hair light. I loved the end result and am planning on using this spot again. Thank you.
For my kind of pictures, the styling often is particularly important. Here I was inspired by the skin, with the make-up in white and the rich floral decoration on the head. The contrast is very dramatic and is supported by the pose and attitude of the hands.

Image was taken in my studio in Krugersdorp. I did only use one light that I bounced around my model using v-flats.
The image was edited with photoshop and Exposure X from allien skin.
Jennifer is for me a really expressional person.
I like her natural beauty. It's really great fun to work with her.
This photo I have taken only with natural daylight.
Thank you Jennifer
You are wonderful!

"The Picture"
Cloudy sunday afternoon, Sujata (Model, FB @Miss.Sujata.Setema) and Beverly (MakeUp Artist, FB @MakeupbyBeverlyGressler) and I joined up to take some Pictures. Along came Ray (my BorderCollie), Beverly's Husband Marco and their two kids - it was looking like an Extended Family trip. Having arrived at the location, Marco and Ray were looking after the two kids and the rest of us was preparing the shooting, strobes, dress...
we were going for a mysterious, quiet look, with some glamour to it but with a melancholic feeling. as a Dress we chose a white Dress giving her an innocent and, with the old painting, even more melancholic look - leaving the beholder with more questions than the Picture answers.
When I saw Marita with her big fancy eyeglasses I knew I was blown away with Vintage Inspired -series. I just had got my very first studio in old village school near by. All of this school exhaled old times: stairs, halls, windowsills. That feeling I wanted to pursue in my Vintage Inspired -serie.

I was in Munich to shoot with the beautiful Lara and we found a street with cobblestones. At the end of a tunnel I placed her at the bottom and gave her my reflector to sit on it, so that she doesn't get a dirty pant. This was lit with natural light only and nothing else, as you remember, she was sitting on my reflector ^^
ph Leonardo Cestari portrait of Maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli www.leonardocestari.com,
while technology runs too fast I try to go back realizing simple, natural portraits
in this case I was lucky and facilitated by the natural beauty of my subject
It was poring rain this day but once it slowed down rays of sunlight appear, I took advantage of the timing, it still was raining a little bit but she enjoyed the blessing of the rain from that day, it was incredibly fun with a touch of a magic moment.

The Flower Girl | Natural Light Portrait.
This is a picture I took for my final portfolio for the Hallmark Institute of photography.
I was looking for nice locations and this was a park that I found/heard about in Connecticut. It was a beautiful location to shoot at and my model Alyssa Jake was just amazing. I was going for a natural light portrait. I happened to pick out a nice dress and the flower crown and they merged beautifully with the background. The colour palette just worked. It was an amazing day and a great shoot. This is one of the best shots of the series.

I can't express how much my life as a Man changed when my son was born. He just made me become who I am supposed to be. A loving father, a guide for him when he grows up and along his life. But I bet he will definitely manage to find his way :) He is my lovely Bad Boy...
A fascinating and uninhibited woman in an Indian style thematic session. Natural light.

For this picture I used different light sources and tried to get a fresh and interesting style, which is very close to a beauty. Careful retouching was very important for this effect.
What I like too about this picture is the expression of Nathalie. Very direct and yet gentle and a bit lost at the same time.

This photo I have taken on our first shooting.
My model, as you can see, has really great fun on her work.
For me it is a wonderful moment to record her really hearty laugh photographically.
Thank you Rosi for such a beautiful moment.

The woman in this photo, Diana Espin, was actually assisting me with a photo shoot of several yoga practitioners. Diana is an accomplished yogi and photographer in her own right. During a break in the session, she decided to do some impromptu poses and I managed to capture this image.
"Portrait of Deborah"
Since Deborah (Model & MakeUp Artist, FB @deborahjoergermakeup) is a calm woman I was aiming to show that in the portrait. I decided to do a series of black&white portraits, dark and a lot of black, with available light indoors.
This was made with my favourite Set-up. The window in our guestroom, nothing else. We have a wooden floor which you can see in the background and the grey gradient in the background ist the wall at the other side. These pictures are wonderful lit and painted with light, I love this a lot.
