David Bascunana

David Bascunana is a portrait photographer based in the South of France, running his own studio in Beaucaire for over fifteen years. His signature: creative, colorful studio portraits built around people's passions. Families don't pose in his studio, they play, laugh and interact, while David turns their universe into bold, cinematic scenes. Inspired by rock album covers and cartoons, he combines vivid color palettes, staged sets and masterful lighting to create portraits that tell a story. For him, technique should always serve emotion, never overshadow it. His work has earned him the title of Portraitiste de France in 2023 and 2025, and the European Photographer distinction (FEP) in 2025.
