🇬🇧 As a portrait photographer, I seek to capture emotion in its rawest, most authentic form. What moves me are those moments when the masks fall away, when the soul surfaces, and the image becomes a true connection.

I deeply feel what the people I photograph are experiencing. As a mother of four children, two of whom live with disabilities, my personal journey shapes my gaze — one that is gentle, honest, and profoundly human.

Each portrait is, to me, a tribute to authenticity, enhanced by a touch of fine art, turning emotion into a lasting imprint.

This woman left a deep mark on me. Gentle, radiant, filled with peaceful and glowing energy. As a yoga teacher, she embodied presence, fully connected to herself and to each moment. I was moved by the tenderness and love she offered to the child growing within her. Every second of her pregnancy felt sacred, cherished like a precious breath. Her tattoos told a story, her own, and beautifully enhanced her presence as a mother-to-be. Through her, I felt this truth deeply: we must live every moment as if it were our last.

The Light at the End of the Struggle

She grew up in pain: bullying, violence, illness, disability… Life tested her again and again.
Yet, she always rose. Head held high, with a direct gaze, a dignified presence, and a huge heart.
A mother of two: a daughter with severe DYS disorders, and a son with rare congenital myasthenia.
She fights every day, but continues to give, love, and hope.
In March 2005, death nearly claimed her: an accident, electrocution in her bath. She saw the light, the tunnel. She should have died.
But she woke up. Alive. A rebirth. Not for herself, but to love fiercely. For her children. For her faith.
She doubts, she suffers, but she moves forward. She protects. She loves.
With the raw strength of those who cannot fall.
Her gaze is that of a lioness, a warrior with a tender heart.
In her hands, a rosary, a symbol of unwavering faith, a light that never fades.

Through this image, I honor these parents in the shadows.
I see you. You are magnificent. You are light.
