As A Child My Father Enjoyed Photography, So Father Daughter Time Often Meant Taking Pictures. My Mother Was Camera Shy And Had Two Younger Children That Kept Her Busy, So My Father Used Me As A Model. My Mother Died When I Was Only 6 Years Old And During Her Wake, People Took Pictures Of Her Out Of Our Family Albums, Everyone Wanted A Rare Picture Of This Beautiful Person Who Was Snatched From Them Too Soon. My Family And I Treasure Every Awkward Candid Of My Mother And Would Have Loved To Have Pictures Of Her Embracing Herself And The Camera. I Know First Hand How Important A Simple Portrait Can Be.
As Well As The Importance Of Portraits In Our Lives, I Love The Combination Of Creativity And The Specifics Of The Technical Side. Photography Is A Perfect Balance Of My Skills And Passions. I Think Of Every Photo I Take As A Work Of Art Combined With The Freezing Of A Moment. This Is A Really Magical Thing To Me.
