I wanted to start taking pictures that allude to a narrative. Pictures that feel cinematic. So my first set in this series was gone loud with @oliviamaydavis. This was one of the first taken during the shoot. Taken on film to feel as viscerally cinematic as possible.

It was not an arranged photoshoot, it is more like a rescue mission. The model and her husband live in Switzerland and were visiting the husband's family in Hong Kong, where they own a jewellery and textile business. They had arranged a product catalog photoshoot with another photographer just the day before they are scheduled to return to Switzerland, but it turns out that the photoshoot with another photographer was not very satisfactory. The husband, through a mutual friend, asked me to help in the last minute (and it was almost 9pm when we started shooting). The photo was not taken in a professional set-up, it was taken in the jewellery and textile shop. It was quite challenging because we started late at night and the model is tired after the earlier photoshoot. And there was no studio lighting or even backdrop (we ended up using a piece of garment from the shop). Glad the it works out just fine in the end.

It was taken in Myanmar during my last trip at Monastic Education School, Sagging Hill (website https://aungmyaeoo.com). Thanks to this school orphans have been given the chance to get an education and hopefully better opportunities in life.
It was indeed very touching spending time with them while they were having lesson and realising how happy and serene you can be in the bad luck by simply enjoying two of the most important things you can long for, i.e. Life itself and education.
This school is surviving thanks to donations and support from foreign foundations, so I hope by this picture and Portrait Photo Awards I will be able somehow to help them.

In the jungle with the blue/green leaves, called "an Elf from Middle Earth". I am hugely influenced by Lord of The Rings in my work, and here I wanted to pay homage to the Lothlorien forest where Gandalf was mourned. I wanted to evoke a bigger than life feeling, a play on expression and mood in a way that touches your spiritual side and reminds you of angels or Lady Arwen; a portrait of a meta-human in some sort.

This photo is titled "Engagement"...and is one of my most intimate works - amazingly talented model. As for interest, the colors purple and blue were selected to convey certain hidden expressions. Purple represented mystery, uncertainty, but hope. Blue being the lighter side... defined having faith, to trust, and confidence in commitment. There is a double subject matter where the attention travels between her and the ring.

"Look within, there all the answers lay..." I wanted to create a portrait of a woman reflecting on life in nature while it feels she is blending in the background and not forced into the scene in a fake way. Her emotions and expressions mirror that of inner state and serenity. She is from nature and to nature she belongs...

This photo was taken by me during the filming of a new television series for British television. According to legend, the main character gets into Russia in search of 51 Faberge's egg. Here, namely in Moscow on The Red Square, we met with Michael Landes. I had shoot only back stage, namely how the film group works and what is happening around. But could not resist and took a photo of the reaction of the main characters on the cold and rain in Moscow in early April. Of course, the deep philosophical thought is not here. But thanks to the great play of actors, we can imagine a variety of situations...

It is called "touch me" here I wanted to capture a sensual and intensely passionate portrait of Erica, where one longs to touch either her soul or her body. Red is a very powerful color which many subconscious effects, I wanted it to take her expression to unchartered territory, hinting subconsciously towards the forbidden sensuality of the touch.
